Dr. Gentry Sutton is the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. In addition to his undergraduate degree from Sterling College, a Master of Arts from Emporia State University, and a Doctor of Educational Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Dr. Sutton is an author and serves as an Assistant Professor of English at OKWU. “In a culture that constantly spews complicated and confounding information and often cheapens the gift of language,” says Sutton, “I consider it an honor and a serious responsibility to teach people how to communicate effectively and with integrity.”
